Saijal Sharma is a skilled architect and urban designer with extensive education and experience in the field. In 2016, she obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree in India and is an officially registered architect with the Council of Architecture (COA, India) after her graduation she worked in civil-architecture and interior design firm. To further enhance her expertise, Saijal pursued a Master's degree in Urban Environments Design (MDes) from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, School of Design. This multidisciplinary program delves into various aspects of urban design, sustainable architecture, systems and strategies as well as public space design. Following the completion of her Master's degree, she earned work experience in prominent architecture firms in Hong Kong. Specialising in high-end contemporary mixed-use architecture, commercial retail design, urban design development, and environmental planning. Currently she is working as a Research Associate at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, School of Design, where she is actively engaged and working on prominent research projects. Notably, she has contributed her expertise to project Neom THE LINE focusing on Human-centric design, showcasing her dedication and passion for pushing the boundaries of architectural innovation.
