Yutaka Yano read Architecture at The Bartlett, University College of London; his passion for process and research-led work resulted in receiving the RIBA Bronze Medal. As co-founder of SKY YUTAKA, Yutaka practices in the field of art, architecture, design, landscape projects and has realised projects which actively encourage a wider audience to engage with architecture and the Hong Kong city-planning framework. He is active in promoting design through practice and teaching as Adjunct Assistant Professor in Architecture at CUHK and lecturer in Landscape Architecture at Birmingham University x Shape (Hong Kong) and as part of the Comparative Asian Research Network (CARN) focusing on issues and research in the Asian Region.
